Avalanche Park

An area entirely dedicated to learning how to use your AVD (avalanche victim detector) in an area equipped with an electronic training system.
Come and get trained with the help of the ski area piste rescue service.

The Avalanche Park is an area for training in avalanche search and promoting awareness of the dangers of off-piste skiing.
Located between the top of the Transarc telecabin and the Creche restaurant.

The avalanche park is equipped with a permanent electronic training system comprising a control box (start, timer, choice of number of victims) and ten markers buried at the beginning of the winter, to simulate avalanche victims for random searches. These markers stop the timer when touched with a probe.
