6/ Once past Cormet d'Arêches, the trail descends towards Lac des Fées, then the Saint Guérin dam. Cross the dam, walk along the west bank of the lake, then take the path leading up to Grand Mont. After the chalets de Rognoux, the path turns right to reach the refuge de l'Alpage (accommodation available), then continues up the mountainside to Lac Tournant. Continue to the Arolles refuge.

Grand-Mont, make a final stop at crystal-clear Lac Tournant!
