Hike: The Little Sambuy
Description
Start : Faverges-Seythenex, top of the Chairlift at la Sambuy ski resort
"La petite Sambuy" is at the heart of an internationally renowed geopark certified by the UNESCO. It is a promontory offering a beautiful view of lake Annecy and the mountain ranges of the Bornes, Mont Blanc, Beaufortain and the Bauges.

0/ Top of the chairlift
1/ After getting off the chairlift, turn right towards the take-off, walk between the snack bar and the skiing instructor's chalet then follow the 4x4 track going down to your left towards la Bouchasse alpine pasture.
2/ Then, take the fisrt path ascending in the combe on your right. Follow it up to the col de la Sambuy pass. While ascending, you can discover the Dahuts via Ferrata on your left and perhaps run into marmots or encouter Virginie's goats. At the pass, take a right to admire the view.
3/ The pointe de la Sambuy peak on the left is for regular mountain hikers only.
