Rafting on the river Isère

AN Rafting's whole team of state-certified guides will take you rafting on the upper Isère, considered to be a mecca for white water sports in Europe. There are several descents to choose from: allow 2 to 4 hrs with us, 1 to 2 hrs of which will be on the river

The Isère, deemed one of the most beautiful rivers in the Alps, offers incredible descents, during which you will ride the famous rapids of Aime with sections called the 'Salle à manger' [the Dining Room], the 'Machine à couper le Jambon' [the Meat Slicer], and the 'Dessert' [dessert]... and discover the magnificent gorges at Centron and the Roman bridge. As a family, on your own or in a group, the river offers a range of thrills and unforgettable memories to suit all tastes and for all ages!

Accessible to anyone aged 8 and over who can swim, for the descent through Centron gorges and anyone aged 12 and over for the other rafting descents. You will be rafting quite safely with a state-certified guide. We will provide all the technical equipment and the bus transfers are included in the price. You will have access to changing rooms and showers. Remember to bring a swimming costume and towel!

- Descent through Centron Gorges: accessible to anyone aged 8 and over who knows how to swim. Allow 2hr30 with us, 1 hour of which will be spent on the river, going from Aime to Centron to discover the fabulous gorges.

- Sporty descent of the Isère: accessible to anyone aged 12 and over who knows how to swim, 3 hrs with us, 1hr30 of which will be on the river. Descent from Bourg Saint Maurice to Aime or from Bellentre to Centron (according to the schedule) which will ensure a passage through the rapids at Aime, the course of the canoe-kayak world championships!

- Full descent if the Isère: accessible to anyone aged 12 and over who knows how to swim, 4 hrs with us, 2 hrs of which will be on the river. Descent from Bourg Saint Maurice to Centron, in other words the whole of the navigable section of the upper Isère, to discover the rapids of Aime and the gorges at Centron. It is France's longest rafting descent!
