Fancy exploring the Hauts de Villaroger National Nature Reserve? Route 66 is the perfect itinerary! This 23km uphill trail winds its way through the forest on the edge of the Nature Reserve.
From the funicular, take the voie verte to the Bonneville bridge. Then head up through the forest to Villaroger via the departmental road. Take the carriage road that runs alongside the Hauts de Villaroger nature reserve as far as Pré-Saint-Esprit, with views of the Be Rouge and the Sainte Foy Tarentaise resort, as far as the start of the Arcabulle chairlift. You can reach Arc 1600 via the Tour de l'Aiguille Grive.
