Active mountain holidays

If you’re looking for a vast playground where you can indulge in your favourite sport, Pays d’Albertville is a unique destination, known across Savoie Mont-Blanc for its network of trails. A collection of waymarked walking routes will take you to the mountain refuges at Arpettaz Mountain Pass or La Thuile - great places to escape from the heat of the summer or spend a night at altitude.

If you’re looking for something more strenuous and challenging, follow one of the hiking or trail routes to Mont Charvin or Fort du Mont.

Nature is our priority

Head for Savoie, within easy reach of Annecy and Chambéry, to explore an area where nature is safeguarded. With the Bauges Regional Nature Park and the Vanoise National Park, a wide variety of landscapes awaits you as a backdrop to your favourite activities. Whether you’re more into cultural visits or Alpine hikes, you can look forward to some breathtaking experiences.

Visit Val d’Arly and the Beaufortain Mountains with their medium and high mountain passes. They are the ideal places to relax and re-energize from the spring right through to the autumn.

And why not make your trip low-impact by getting close to nature and enjoying a range of locally produced food and drinks: cheeses (Beaufort), cured meats, orchard fruits and Savoie wines.

Welcome to Pays d’Albertville!
