Savour flavours of our cheeses made with milk from farms in and around Megève: Reblochon, Beaufort, Tomme and Raclette de Savoie, yoghurts, faisselles and other dairy specialties; Enjoy meats and cured meats produced here in Megève, and many other local farm-made cheeses & delicatessen.
Taste our cheeses, which have been produced in Flumet, in the Arly valley, since 1969, with milk from farms in and around Megève; Reblochon, Beaufort, Tomme and Raclette de Savoie, yoghurts and cottage cheeses; Plus ice creams, farmhouse cheeses, local meat and artisanal salt meats, Savoy wines and beers and local delicatessen.
80 milk producers farm 3 different breeds of hardy dairy cattle here in the mountains of the Pays du Mont Blanc and the Arly valley. The Fruitière in Flumet (on the way to the ski slopes) is a work tool, which has been created by these local farmers, and today provides a number of jobs, which help to contribute to the dynamics of the region. The milk, with its quality taste due to its natural bacterial Microflora, is collected every day, all year round, and transformed into Reblochon, Beaufort, Tomme and Raclette de Savoie, “La Fraîche Altitude” Yoghurts, cottage cheeses and butter.
Visit the exhibition dedicated to our Alpine farming and our cheese makers’ expertise, in Flumet, open 7/7, all year round, from 8.30am to 7.30pm, free access.
