Coopérative Laitière de Haute Tarentaise

The Coopérative Laitière de Haute-Tarentaise in Bourg-Saint-Maurice is one of our six stores selling Beaufort and products of the Savoyard soil.

It is in the heart of Bourg-Saint-Maurice, cradle of the Beaufort AOP cheese, that you will see the new appearance of the Coopérative. In a brand new designed store, come discover all the products made by our cheese makers : Beaufort of course and also salted and unsalted butter, tarentine and Beaufort cream.
The store is not the only one welcoming you in a modern atmosphere, come see the free 300 square meters and two stories museum. Through a recreational visit, you will learn everything you need to know about the production of the Beaufort AOP cheese. Video accounts of cheese makers and farmers, a replica of a cow you can milk and tablet computers will reveal you all the secrets about this unique and iconic Tarentaise Valley’s cheese.
Also, enjoy local products and traditional cuisine upstairs at the restaurant, La Table de la Coop and don’t forget to try out the new clic and collect « Beaufort Express » : order online the flagship products of the Coopérative, come get them at the store and save some time !
