La Plagne Montalbert

Montalbert is a traditional village in the heart of a fabulous ski area, where you will find a warm, friendly welcome.
Nestled in the heart of a fir, spruce and larch tree forest, Plagne Montalbert will captivate you with its charming scenery.

La Plagne Montalbert is very aptly described as a "convivial" village. When you stay there, you will appreciate its traditional warm welcome and the charming scenery: mountain-style architecture, views of Mont Blanc, snow-covered fir trees… a picture-postcard setting for a delightful holiday!

There is a variety of accommodation (residences, hotels, apartments, holiday centres, chalets…), to keep your whole tribe happy! If you want to really let go and relax, you can make the most of the stunning natural environment which you can discover in both summer and winter on snowshoes, cross-country skis, touring skis, electric mountain bikes or on foot, according to the season…

You can go on your own or with a guide. If you are in search of adventure and entertainment, you will find all you need for an unforgettable holiday.

Your family holiday in Montalbert
A family-friendly village! With your family, you will appreciate the lower altitude of La Plagne Montalbert. On site, a number of infrastructures and amenities have been created with children in mind. In winter, take the gondola up to Le Fornelet where you can enjoy the 360° view from the beautiful picnic area looking across to Mont Blanc. Skiers can take Les Lutins blue run back down to the village, winding through the forest. Hiking and snowshoeing trails that are accessible to all allow you to discover the different facets of the resort. In summer, there is a wide choice of activities and entertainment for families. For your little ones, a visit to the mini-farm at Le Forperet is a must to see the animals, with calves, pigs and chickens…Bigger kids will love the 125m long Montal'Splash water slide. And of course, you can all take off on a mountain escapade on foot or on e-mountain bikes to discover the trails.
