The potter’s work is twofold. It is first of all manual by the shaping of the pieces; Gwenaëlle turns essentially. Then she applies an engobe for the color, which she then graffiti to make the decor. Finally, Gwenaëlle performs a chemist’s work by making and cooking enamels. Stoneware has the characteristic of cooking at high temperature (1280 °C) and being glazed. Thus, all pottery is dishwasher safe and microwave safe. It’s also non-gelive, so bird feeders can stay outside all winter long! Gwenaëlle creates essentially utilitarian pieces of rather contemporary style to combine functionality and purity of lines.

The pottery is visible and available for purchase at the workshop of Gwenaëlle, at the arti des Cimes (Hauteluce) and the Échoppe des Artisans (Beaufort).
