Snowkite zone

A snowkiting school, the only one of its kind in Savoie, gives tuition on the Petit St Bernard pass, where snow and wind conditions are ideal for beginners as well as experienced snowkiters.

The Petit St Bernard pass, nestled in the heart of the Espace San Bernardo ski area and accessible only by ski-lifts in winter, is known as one of the most beautiful places in the Alps for snowkiting. With its heavy snowfall, varied terrain and regular winds that blow between the Tarentaise and Aosta valleys, it is the ideal place to learn how to snowkite. A snowkiting school, the only one of its kind in Savoie, was created here in 2007, and one of the French Championship stages is held here each winter.
