Fort de la Batterie

Restored since 1998, the Fort de la Batterie is located on the heights at 1440 m altitude, in the place called "l'Alpettaz".
Facing Mont Blanc, it overlooks a cliff and dominates the Ugine valley.
The view is breathtaking from up there.

Ideally located on the shoulder of the Dent de Cons, the Fort de la Batterie is a perfect setting for contemplative hikers and sportsmen. 40 min walk to get there from the car park.

On the program: walking, hiking, snowshoeing, climbing, high-line, trail, mountain running, observation of fauna and flora, chamois and hoof of venus, deer slab, panoramic and spectacular view, sea of clouds, sunset on the Mont Blanc massif, Yoga and contemplation.

Visit on weekends, about 40 minutes walk to get there from the car park.
