Mountain thrills in the Alps

Pays d’Albertville is also a winter sports destination less than an hour from Savoie’s mountain resorts and resort villages. Come and enjoy the snow and the numerous outdoor activities on offer in the area: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoe walks, dog sleds and more. Dig out your kit, call your family or friends and set a course for Savoie Mont-Blanc!

Winter landscapes in Pays d’Albertville

With snow-capped peaks all around, Pays d’Albertville offers fabulous views of some of the most sought-after mountain areas, including Mont-Blanc and the Aravis Range. One great way to explore this unique environment is to take a snowshoe walk with our guides. They know their region and the terrain like the backs of their hands, and will help you enjoy everything the mountains have to offer in winter. Craving freedom and open spaces? With both Nordic skiing and ski touring available, there’s something to suit all tastes, and all skill levels. For example, in the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park, you can explore 27km of cross-country trails at the Tamié Valley ski area just 20 minutes from Albertville.

Leave your tracks in the pristine powder as you head for a restaurant to enjoy traditional Savoyard cuisine with friends or family in Tamié Valley or at Arpettaz Mountain Pass.
